Life can be tough and confusing for teens and pre-teens, so West Edge's youth program is designed to be a place where teens feel safe, accepted, and connected. The youth group is great place to meet people, hang out, and receive the kind of spiritual mentorship needed to thrive during this time of life. Our purpose is to reach spiritual seeking teens and equip them with a foundation in Christ, so that they can better engage their world.

Sunday Mornings: After participating in the music worship at the beginning of the service, Jr. High youth are invited to an interactive lesson apart from the adults which may include dramas, games, and group discussions. Our High School students remain in the service for a relevant, engaging time of teaching.

Breakaway Youth (Jr. High - Grades 6-8)

The Gathering (Grades 6-12)
Every Tuesday the youth meet to learn more about who Jesus is and to connect with each other at the West Edge Outreach Centre from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. We will usually play some games, eat some food, learn more about God and each other. The Tuesday Gathering is for Sr and Jr High students but the discussion and games are more geared towards Jr High students.

The Gathering Part II (Grades 9-12)
Every Thursday the youth meet to go into a more in-depth bible study together with adult facilitators. We meet at 4:30 and are done by 6:00. We are currently working our way through the book of Revelation. If you are interested in coming out please email Rob at youth@westedge.org.

Social Events: Each month there is a selection of youth group events. All events are designed to give the teens in our community an opportunity to develop a greater sense of unity and responsibility. The youth also attend various conventions and retreats throughout the year.
